Bellini Intelli Kitchen Master...mark II

I have received my new machine from GSM, the Australian distributors for the above machine.

I did get a bit of a shock today and thought I had a broken machine. I was twirling around the temperature dial and it went to 100 degrees, then to 'St'. Oh no, not broken already!!

Raced off to check the booklet and this is what they have done to stop the burning. After 100 degrees, it goes to 'St' for steaming, not up to 130 degrees as previously these machines were set.

Will this still cook hot enough? I burnt custard at 80 degrees, so how will this help? Are all temperatures actually lower than they say on dial?

I don't know. Do let me know if you have the mark II Bellini Kitchen Master, please let me know.

What is the maximum temp for the Maxi superchef thermofood pro? It and the Bellini look alike, so what have they done to the Maxi to stop burning? Let me know please.

Thanks...

Replacement Bellini Intelli Kitchen Machine

Woohoo!!!! The replacement Bellini Kitchen Machine has arrived. Can't wait to try it out.

I must comment on GSM in South Australia for being such a super company when it comes to
Customer service. They always reply and answer communication, phone back etc, WHEN THEY SAY THEY WILL. Not many like that these days.

Now no time to try it out for a bit, as my husband's car was written off in an accident on my birthday last week and we have to be out trying to buy a replacement car with the merger dollars RACQ value our vehicle at.

Good to have two blades, guess one is to take the place of reverse blade. The second blade is for stirring, not chopping.

Thanks GSM for keeping to your word.

Tree Lopers

Today a great big Samoan guy came to my door, offering to cut down a straggly tree down from our front yard. After intense bargaining, I got the price down to $550, thinking this was a bargain and he offering to allow me to pay it off.

After a little less than an hour, they finished, with a tip truck loaded full with my tree and a poisoned 10cm high trunk left behind. Giving him the part payment we had agreed upon, he said I will be back tomorrow for the remainder of payment, as we are going on holidays next week. Bit of a shock to me, however as it will be my husband's pay day tomorrow, I agreed.
Wonder what would have happened if I had not the ability to pay the rest then?

At least the front yard looks much tidier, but I have been worrying where all the lorikeets will go, as they loved the flowers of our Africian Tulip Tree?
Will miss the birds songs as they used to feed in our tree.....probably be much hotter in Summer now, without the shade of that orange flowered tree......

Bellini Kitchen Master Update

After writing again to GSM, the company making these brilliant machines, I was informed that replacement machines will be
Available late July/early August. Also they will be Back in store during August.

Such good news! I love GSM and how quickly they always respond to emails. I am looking forward to my replacement machine, so I can also make jams, custards etc, which currently burn on the bottom in two brown circles.

I am loving my machine, using it most days, a number of times. I find that I am cooking way more often.

So looking forward to a new improved Machine and recipe book.

I have several friends wanting one, so look out Target, we are waiting for the restocking.

Dove Nourishing Oil care

I bought this product yesterday. Dove's advertising says it is as good as Moroccan Oil. Now I have never used Moroccan Oil to compare, but I very much like this oil.

It is used in the ends of hair, not roots, on dry or wet hair. I doesn't feel oily and you can apply it and go off to work or wherever and this oil is working on your hair to make it feel shiny and moisturised and silky.

I have very fine hair and thought it would weight it down, but no, light and you are not aware the oil is in your hair. I woke up this morning and all my crispy hair ends were soft and flexible.

This Dove product is now a permanent fixture in my beauty regime and you should try it, if your hair needs a bit of shine and protection. Great before sun too.

Love Dove's Nourishing Oil Care!

Bellini Kitchen Machine (Master)...continuing Target

Today I received an email from Target Australia regarding my layby of the Bellini Kitchen Machine...Not happy Jan!

They say it has been cancelled and I should go and receive a refund for my deposit. But...I WANT THE MACHINE!!!!

This is the Target email:

Thank you for your email.

We regretfully had to remove the Bellini kitchen machine from your lay-by as they are banned from sale due to a copyright issue. You will receive a letter shortly if you haven't already.

Unfortunately they have been removed until further notice, therefore we are unable to take details if they come in again.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Kind Regards,

They won't even put me on a waiting list for any future possibility of this machine being on sale again. They are involved in legal issues, although I cannot find anything official in this online.

Anyway, my name is down with GSM who makes the Bellini, in case they replace with an updated Model, I can get one for Mum's machine that I am still using.

I am hoping very much that Target does again have the Bellini Intelli Kitchen Machine in stock, as I would definitely buy another one and certainly recommend my friends to buy one as well.

Thin Lizzy Bra...free?

Today I received two 'free' Thin Lizzy Bras, along with my Instyler. I am sure unpaid for them and they were not really free. I had phoned earlier about the Instyler and the cost was $150
Minus Thin Lizzy, but now $30 added
With FREE Thin Lizzy.
Are they comfortable? Yes, very comfortable. But I am not big breasted and find they just push me flat with a big gap in the cleavage...what cleavage? My husband says a girl at his work is wearing them and is very big breasted and just looks big and smashed across her chest area. Not a good look either. But if you are moderate breast size, I could well imagine they would be good for you.

On top of that, who wants to see your bra as part of your fashion? Maybe ok for the gym, but otherwise, not a good look, especially with a strappy dress...everyone would know the brand of your bra!!

No, I will take a miss in this bra!

Instyler...as seen on TV (two for one) supposedly

My Instyler arrived today, I found out it must be used on clean hair and wondered what I do with my hair on in between days. So I washed my hair, dried it and had a go. It certainly isn't as easy as on TV, drags through hair, not simply slides like TV does. I have very fine, thin hair, so used it on the lowest temperature, as per instructions. I discovered I needed to next heat
To actually do anything. It really didn't give me a lift at the crown of my shoulder length hair, but was slightly fuller all over. I did have to use a little spray gel to get any height there. Yet on TV, big height!!!

I guess I will keep experimenting and will find the right and best way to use the Instyler with my hair.

Shame you have to buy two ($180) and get two free Thin Lizzy bras, all of which I didn't want. Luckily my mother bought one from me. I wonder how she will get on, as she is not flexible with such things.

Will let you know as I further experiment with my new Instyler.

Bellini...the containing saga

Target phoned my husband today and told him to tell me to come in and get my layby refund for the Bellini Intelli Kitchen Machine. I was certainly not happy, my husband tried to ring them back, but they phoned from a blocked number unfortunately. No comment about a waiting list to get a replacement when and if they come out again.

Not a happy camper...

Bellini Soup

Made a big batch of vegetable soup in the Bellini Kitchen Machine, worked excellently, no burning (no milk) and didn't even chop the vegetables to nothing while cooking. Chopped them up a bit after cooking. All good.

My family love it, so I am happy, didn't have to stir, just come back to a cooked jar of soup. Thank you Bellini.
